The vinyl liner itself is the surface of the entire pool, made of colorized chlorinated PVC thermoplastic vinyl. The liner is set in the pool and hung in the “bead track” which is located at the top of the pool's wall. Once the liner is in proper position, it is vacuumed against the walls and floor, then the pool is filled with water.

A fiberglass pool is a manufactured pre-built fiberglass shell that can be installed in your desired location in a matter of days. All pools are finished with a concrete cantilever coping which can have a smooth finish or a textured rock finish giving the pool more personality. There is more lead time with fiberglass pool projects because the shell has to be ordered.
